Gag reins

A gag rein is a sliding cheekpiece that runs through a gag bit. This creates an elevating effect. Fager offers different gag reins depending on your desired impact—either curb gag or traditional gag.

We always recommend using two reins when using a gag bit: one attached to the gag cheek and one attached to the snaffle.
