IMPORTANT: Fager Fanny offers two fittings, each offering a very different result.

Fitted one way it creates a front-lock and then turned around and fitted the other way, there is no locking of the joint.

WITH front lock is recommended if you would describe your horse as the following:

• Can be inconsistent in the connection.
• Do not actively seek contact towards the bit.
• Drops the bit/falls behind the hand.

WITHOUT front lock is recommended if you would describe your horse as the following:

* Can be inconsistent in the connection.
* Feels stiff under the saddle.
* Bites down on the bit, attempting to pull it back.
* Attempts to place the tongue over the bit.
