Maja Titanium Baucher

Maja is a durable and lightweight double-jointed Titanium bit, designed with the sensitive horse in mind. Maja offers that extra bit of everything, just when you need it!

Designed to follow the natural shape/contour of the mouth, Maja has a short centerpiece that lays flat against the tongue, eliminating any palate interference. It breaks towards the outside of the tongue, softening excessive pressure to the center of the tongue, allowing a more consistent feel across the mouth.

Using Maja for a horse with a sensitive tongue you will discover that they become more willing to accept the contact and start to enjoy their work. It's a good option for horses that can get on and off in the contact, stiff and a little bit heavy but at the same time sensitive.

Maja even suits horses whose mouth conformation has a low palate combined with a big tongue; this combination being extremely difficult to find suitable bits for.

This sidepiece is designed to keep the mouthpiece steady and give a framed feeling.

Baucher is to prefer if you have problems with wounds in the corners of the mouth or wears on the premolars (P2). The Baucher will reveal these places from constant pressure and help the horse to relax.

This design is the ideal solution for sensitive horses who easily develop sores and cuts as it protects the bars and the flesh of the mouth.

Please note, horses who are wide over the premolars/teeth may need to size up in this bit due to the upper shanks. This is because the sidepiece of the bridle is attached to the upper shank of the bit, which is placed higher up where some horses are wider than others.
