Sally Titanium Kimblehook

Sally's double-jointed mouthpiece has a tongue relief, relieving constant pressure. This bit is a good option for horses that can get strong in the contact, lean on the bit where you want a lighter and softer contact in the hand, and have a faster response when you take the reins. Together with the Kimblehook sidepiece, you get a stable, framed feeling with more brakes.

The Roller is positioned further down than the joints to increase the point-pressure on the tongue. Creating pressure when your horse pulls or feels heavy in your hand without creating consistent pressure.

The roller also allows horses something to play with, perfect for horses who can feel numb to the contact.

Material
Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the mouth's temperature, encouraging the horse to accept the bit and be more comfortable.

We usually recommend a Titanium bit for sensitive-mouthed horses who can react to other metals, e.g. red marks or sores developing, despite a soft contact from the hands.

Titanium gives a super light feeling in the hand and quicker response compared to a heavier bit, particularly when combined with the correct mouthpiece for the individual horse.

Kimblehook
The Kimblehook can be described as a fixed ring with the possibility to add leverage when you need it. The further down you place your rein; the more pressure will be added and divided between chin, poll, and mouth. The stable feeling Kimblehook creates can be good for fuzzy and worried horses that gets strong, unbalanced and hard to turn. The Kimblehook puts the pressure further down in the mouth which can help a horse that gets too high in the neck. Kimblehooks are always used together with a chain or strap behind the chin.

Please note, horses who are wide over the premolars/teeth may need to size up in this bit due to the upper shanks. This is because the sidepiece of the bridle is attached to the upper shank of the bit, which is placed higher up where some horses are wider than others.
