Jack Sweet iron Mouthpiece

Jack is a double-jointed Sweet iron bit.

The Sweet Iron material naturally oxidizes and rusts when in use.  This oxidation process creates a ‘sweet’ taste which increases and encourages salivation. If you are looking for more contact in the hand, we recommend using a Sweet Iron bit as the taste encourages the horse to actively seek the contact.

The shape of the mouthpiece, combined with the short centerpiece eliminates any palate interference as the breakover is positioned towards the outside of the tongue.

The Roller gives your horse something to play with making Jack a good choice to trial if the horse feels stiff in the mouth.

Jack is a very versatile bit and will suit a multitude of different horses, therefore is definitely worth a try.

Note; Jack has the same mouthpiece as Jacob. Jack is the snaffle version = normal snaffle rings. Jacob is the bradoon version = smaller rings.
