What's the difference between Elias and Anna?
Both Elias and Anna are single-jointed with a sweet iron coating. Fager Bit's single-jointed bits provide even pressure distribution and create a comfortable and responsive contact in the horse's mouth. They are designed to be gentle and offer clear signals.
The difference between Elias and Anna is that Anna has a lockup function. Fager’s Smart System FSS™ is an innovative design that creates a unique three-way locking system to prevent the bit from overbending.
Elias
Elias provides even pressure distribution and creates a comfortable and responsive contact in the horse's mouth. It has no lockup function and can bend in all directions, which gives a more flexible feeling in the hand. This offers clear signals as it gives pressure on the sides of the tongue but less pressure on the top of the tongue.
Anna
Fager Anna is a single-jointed bit incorporating Fager’s Smart System FSS™, an innovative design that creates a unique three-way locking system. This bit will lock like a straight bit forward and upwards, creating a more stable feeling, helping a horse who finds it hard to lay on the bit consistently, and protecting the palate from pressure.
