Fager's trail program has just started and we are currently only offering trial bits in Sweden. After evaluating the process in Sweden, we're looking to expand through Europe if everything works well.
At Fager, we believe that finding the right bit should be a confident and informed choice. Every horse is unique, and the right fit can make a real difference.
That’s why we offer the Fager Bit Rental Program – giving you the opportunity to try our bits before making a final decision.
Our goal is to make Fager bits accessible to more riders and horses by allowing customers to rent and test a bit at home.
All Fager bit models are available for rental except rubber, leather bits, sweet gold bits, basic line and sale bits.

We want to build a strong relationship with our customers, encouraging more riders to confidently try our products and share their experience with others.
You purchase the bit at full price
You have 14 days to test the bit, counted from the day the package is delievered
If you return the bit within the rental period, you receive a refund minus the rental fee of 400 SEK
If you decide to keep the bit, no rental fee will be charged!
- Please note: During campaigns the bits will be discounted but the rental charge will not be discounted.
You may receive a previously used bit or a bit with minor cosmetic imperfections. This cannot be appealed or exchanged.
You must follow Fager’s care and cleaning instructions (see further down)
Rental price in case of return: 400 SEK per bit for 14 days
In case of return, the rental fee is always deducted from the refund. If the bit is not returned, no rental fee will be charged; you will only pay the full price of the bit!
The bit must be returned within 14 days of delivery
Failure to comply with the conditions may result in a penalty fee: 600 SEK
Applies if care instructions or rental terms are not followed
Includes 400 SEK rental fee + 200 SEK penalty

At Fager, hygiene and horse welfare are always our highest priority. All rental bits go through a strict cleaning and disinfection process between each use to ensure they are safe and ready for the next horse.
After a rental bit is returned, it is:
Thoroughly washed with disinfectant to remove any dirt, saliva, and residue
Disinfected using a UV-C sanitation cabinet, designed to eliminate bacteria and microorganisms without the use of harsh chemicals
This two-step process ensures that every rental bit meets our high standards of cleanliness, while also protecting both the horse and the material of the bit.
We only return rental bits to circulation once they have been fully cleaned, disinfected, and quality-checked.
