- Scratches in the color coating, nothing that you can feel at all.
- Small marks on the rings
- The sweet iron coating has started to rust (this is the natural oxidation process of the material)
- Miss-coloring
IMPORTANT: Fager Felix offers two fittings, each offering a very different result.
Fitted one way it creates a front-lock, whereas when turned around and fitted the other way there is no locking of the joint.
WITH front lock is recommended if you would describe your horse as the following:
- Can be inconsistent in the connection.
- Do not actively seek contact towards the bit.
- Drops the bit/falls behind the hand.
WITHOUT front lock is recommended if you would describe your horse as the following:
- Can be inconsistent in the connection.
- Feels stiff under the saddle.
- Bites down on the bit, attempting to pull it back.
- Attempts to place the tongue over the bit.
